Tig Welding Wire ER316LSi used principally for welding molybdenum-bearing austenitic materials containing maximum 0.03% carbon. An extra low carbon 19 Cr/ 12 Ni/ 3 Mo /0.85 Si type stainless steel Used mostly in the marine industry for welding 316L or 304 the 0.65-1.20% silicon content. Improves wetting behaviour in the Argon gas shielded welding process.
Also suitable for the general welding of 300 series Stainless Steel. 1000mm Long Lengths.
DC (-) Suitable for welding of extra-low carbon 18%Cr-12%Ni- 2%Mo stainless steel.
Recommended protective gas 100% Argon
